What is a tasbih counter and how does it work?

A tasbih counter (also spelled tasbeeh counter, misbaha, subha, or digital dhikr counter) is a tool used by Muslims to count repetitions of remembrance of Allah such as SubhanAllah (33 times), Alhamdulillah (33 times), and Allahu Akbar (34 times). Our online digital tasbih counter lets you tap your screen or press Spacebar to increment your count with automatic local storage saving.

1 tasbih is equal to how many counts?

In standard Islamic terminology, 1 tasbih is equal to 100 counts (one complete cycle of a 100-bead misbaha, or 33 + 33 + 34 after prayer). In specific post-salah instructions, one tasbih can also refer to a set of 33 repetitions.

How do you count tasbeeh on fingers according to the Sunnah?

According to Sunan Abu Dawud 1502, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ counted tasbih on the fingers of his right hand. Using the tip of your right thumb, touch the 3 phalanx segments on each finger from pinky to index (12 counts) plus 3 joints on the thumb (15 counts per pass). Repeat twice for 30, and add 3 segments on the pinky finger to reach 33.

Can we count tasbeeh on the left hand?

Counting tasbeeh on the right hand is the preferred Prophetic Sunnah. However, mainstream Islamic scholars state that counting on the left hand or using both hands is permissible (mubah) if the right hand is occupied, tired, or injured.

What is the 70,000 tasbih and 125,000 tasbih count?

Reciting 'La ilaha illallah' 70,000 times (Nisab-e-Tahlil) or reciting Salawat/Wazaif 125,000 times (Sawa Lakh) is a traditional cumulative devotional target completed over multiple days or weeks. You can select the 70k or 125k preset button on TasbihCounter.info to track your progress automatically.

How do I turn off a physical digital tasbih counter (cara mematikan tasbih digital)?

Physical LCD finger tasbih counters do not have a manual OFF button. They use an automatic CMOS sleep circuit that turns off the LCD display after 5 to 10 minutes of inactivity while keeping your last count saved in memory.

What battery does a digital tasbih counter use (baterai tasbih digital)?

Standard plastic LCD finger tasbih counters (such as SXH-5136) use one LR41 (also labeled AG3, 392, or SR41) 1.5V button cell battery. Larger LED-backlit and alarm models typically use an LR1130 (AG10) or CR2032 3V coin battery.

How much is the tasbeeh counter price in Pakistan, India, and Indonesia?

A standard plastic LCD finger tasbeeh counter costs Rs 100–250 PKR in Pakistan (Daraz), ₹35–₹99 INR in India (Amazon/Flipkart), Rp 1,800–5,000 IDR in Indonesia (Shopee/Lazada), and $1–$3 USD globally. Smart Bluetooth OLED Tasbeeh Rings range from $12 to $45 USD.
